Rumor: Apple might be thinking to add HDMI to the Mac

Mini Mac with connection HDMI

The AppleInsider people do to herself echo of a rumor that he says that Apple would be preparing the inclusion of connectivity HDMI to the line Mac. According to this rumor, there would be prototypes of Mac Mini that have replaced the connection DVI with a HDMI thanks to a graphic card NVIDIA with chip MCP89 (graphic chip evolution of the one that finds in the cards NVIDIA GeForce 9400M that some Apple models mount).

Nevertheless, disagreements exist between Intel and NVIDIA with regard to the terms of license of use of the chip MCP89 in machines with processors i3, i5 and i7, what might provoke that Apple was continuing with the current scale of processors Core 2 Duo in future updates of Mac Mini.

At present, only the Apple TV has this connection and to add it to the scale Mac Mini almost who might be considered to be his death sentence, since it would do much simpler the use of the child of the family as multimedia center without the problems of resolution that usually appear.

It will be necessary to hope that I hope this rumor is confirmed but, sincerely, it surprises me very much, topcoat since Apple bet clearly for the connection DisplayPort in his teams.
